Automatic Fare Collection Terminal for public transport vehicle (TV AFCS Terminal) is designed to process single-ride and multi-use tickets in transport vehicles of AFCS. The Terminal is to be installed on a AFC turnstile and controls its operation (pass permission/ prohibition). The AFCS Terminal can process single-ride paper tickets (SPT) protected with fixed signs of validity.

TV AFCS Terminal checks the SPT validity and prints on it the date and time of payment as well as any other information if required by a client (such as a number of transport vehicle, etc.).

TV AFCS Terminal supports a double stamping technology for integrated trips with a change of transport.

TV AFCS Terminal supports the following types of multi-use tickets based on Mifare® contactless cards.

Among them:

Mifare® Standard (not used in new projects)
Mifare® Plus (to be used in new projects and substitute the Mifare Standart in the existing projects)
Mifare® UltraLight (not recommended to be used in new projects)
Mifare® UltraLight C (for new projects and to replace the Mifare® Ultralight in the existing projects)
Mifare® DesFire EV1

Contactless cards provide for the implementation of flexible tariff policies as to a contract recorded in the card – a number of trips, time of validity, number of trips with time restrictions, preferential contracts, etc.

The installation of TV AFCS Terminals at public transport vehicles by paying with SPT and Contactless Cards would allow to:

Automate fare collection control;
Reduce operational costs to organize such a control;
Increase economic performance indicators;
Cut down operational expenses for a manual fare collection and collectors;
To receive prompt and accurate fare collection reports

TV AFCS Terminal is installed in a vertical operational position and fixed with an assembly kit supplied in a set.

Outer dimensions of the terminal, mm: (height x length x width) 270x140x100. Weight: not more than 2kg.

Configurations:

TV AFCS/SPT Terminal. Terminal with the SPT validation block accepts, validates and marks as “used” single-ride paper tickets with the elements of friend-or-foe identification and double-use protection system.
TV AFCS/CC Terminal. Terminal with contactless card validation block – accepts, validates and electronically marks tickets based on contactless cards.
TV AFCS/SPT-CC Terminal. Terminal with SPT and CC validation block.

Every terminal is equipped with basic block consisting of power supply, microprocessor control and indication modules. It runs the terminal as an integrated part of TV AFCS and carries out algorithms of data transfer to main network of AFCS and is responsible for passenger or technological indication.

Automatic parking system STOP-Park is designed for management of special parking areas to provide automated or semi automated vehicle’s entrance and exit, payment collection and statistic report features.

Monochrome Printer Tattoo RW (Rewritable) is designed for thermal plastic card printing (in blue or black). This technology allows you to erase and rewrite information on the same card for up to 500 times.
