Turnstile for Mass Transit Applications is designed to control access to paid zone of transport station and to prevent unauthorized passage in both directions.

This kind of turnstile has various payment device options:

Contactless card validator
Token analyzer
Paper tickets validator
Bar-code reader

Turnstile for Mass Transit is a special design of a tripod turnstile featuring several operation modes: prohibition of passage, admittance, anti-panic (automatic dropping and raising of the turnstile arm), blocking of passage. Turnstile for Mass Transit can be operated in a manual mode with remote control.

Configurations:

Turnstile for Mass Transit - E (Entrance) – permits passage in paid zone once the fare is charged and forbids passage in reverse direction.

Turnstile for Mass Transit – Ex (Exit) – permits exit from paid zone and forbids passage in reverse direction.

Turnstile for Mass Transit – R (Reverse) – has the capability to be switched from the “entrance” mode into the “exit” mode from control panel. It is used to optimize the passengers flow during nonequivalent rush hours by creating a reverse zone within entrance hall.

Turnstile for Mass Transit – 2 (double-sided) permits passage in paid zone after charging the fare and also permits passage in reverse direction. It can be used to organize passage in the limited space of entrance hall.

In addition any PAST modification can be designed for outdoor use equipped with microclimate system that ensures reliable operation in any weather conditions.
